Neve Recording Console

The Neve recording console is widely regarded as one of the most iconic pieces of audio equipment in the history of music production. Designed by British engineer Rupert Neve in the 1960s, these consoles became the standard for professional recording studios, shaping the sound of countless albums across genres.

Rupert Neve founded his own company, Neve Electronics, in 1961, and shortly after, he began developing high-quality analog equipment. The original Neve console models, particularly the Neve 8014 and later the Neve 80 Series, were groundbreaking for their use of discrete transistors, which provided greater clarity, warmth, and musicality compared to the more common tube and solid-state designs of the time.

Some of the most iconic albums in music history were recorded on Neve consoles, including works by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Fleetwood Mac. The consoles’ legendary EQ (equalization) section also became a hallmark, with engineers praising the clarity and musicality of the filters, making it easier to shape a track’s sound without introducing harshness.

In a world dominated by digital tools, the Neve recording console stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of analog technology, beloved for its character, warmth, and the timeless sound it imparts to any recording.

How Bout Dem Packers?

Greenbay is playoff bound! As of the writing of this newsletter, Green Bay is 11-4 with two games left on the season.

Our final games come against our NFC North rivals. Ironically, those division games may not have a substantial impact on the playoffs for us but I suppose we don’t know until the dust has settled.

Jordan Love has been producing less silly turnovers this month which may be the deciding factor in how far we make it in the playoffs.

This will be a very exciting post season and will be a very close series of games to close out the season.

Welcome to Our New Teachers!

We have two new teachers on staff. This is super exciting as they are our first hires here. We went through a  number of teachers in our search and we are more than happy with our newest team members. Be sure to say hi and welcome if you see them in the studio!
