The Fast Track Workshop
As of the writing of this newsletter, we are just a few days away from our first workshop. But that hasn’t stopped us from thinking about our next workshop. And for April, we plan to put on a workshop completely dedicated toward making quick progress. How can you make the best use of your time practicing and playing to get the best results? Well, we’ve talked over our own experiences here and put together what we believe is a step by step list of ideas and topics to focus on so that you can make it to ‘Rockstar’ level quicker! Keep your eyes open for the future dates!

The Yamaha P-S500
The Yamaha P-S500 is a versatile digital piano designed to enhance both learning and performance experiences. It features an 88-key Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard, replicating the touch and feel of an acoustic piano. The instrument offers high-quality sounds, including samples from the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial concert grands, providing rich and expressive tones. Additionally, the P-S500 is equipped with 660 varied voices, encompassing pianos, electric pianos, organs, brass, strings, percussion, and more.
A standout feature of the P-S500 is its integration with the Smart Pianist app, which allows users to control the instrument’s settings and access educational tools directly from a smart device. The Stream Lights function guides learners by illuminating keys to indicate which notes to play, facilitating practice even without prior music reading skills. The piano also includes 403 built-in songs across various genres, enabling users to play along with full band arrangements. Furthermore, the Audio to Score feature converts favorite audio tracks into piano accompaniment scores, enhancing the learning experience.
Newsletter Article: Overcoming Stage Fright
Stage fright happens to many musicians, but there are ways to feel brave and happy on stage. First, practice your music many times. When you know your songs very well, you will feel less scared. Next, imagine yourself playing music in front of people and doing a great job. Taking slow, deep breaths before you play can help you relax. Also, say kind words to yourself, like “I can do this!” Remember, the people watching you want you to do well and are cheering for you. Each time you perform, you will feel stronger and less afraid.

Alex in Vegas!
For spring break this year, Alex decided to take a trip to Las Vegas. And while he did very much enjoy his trip, it was not necessarily a vacation. Alex actually went to Vegas to learn a bit more about the business. It was two days of very long and intense meetings. Learning more about how to build a better music studio so that way we can ultimately give you guys a better service.
While he was exhausted after those few days, he’s more excited then ever to implement his new ideas and grow the studio even more! Some of the upgrades will likely take a little while to show up but you’ll likely see more ideas show up over the next few months.
Thanks as always for being so supportive of us and our team. You guys really do make it all worth it!
